Gus Goodman is a Live-Action Role-Playing 26-year-old whose long-term girlfriend, Jenna Pickett, has freshly dumped him for his childish ways. Sent into a depressive spiral, Gus shuts himself away from the world and his friends. As a result, Gus' friends and fellow L.A.R.P.ers find themselves suddenly without their fearless leader in the mythical kingdom of Darconia and are more susceptible to attacks than ever before. In a race against time, the Darconians are faced with the challenge of dragging Gus off his couch long enough to defeat the evil Lord Meridian before he can wipe Darconia off the map forever.
